The Caribbean consists of the Caribbean Sea, it's islands and surrounding coasts. It is located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and North America, east of Central America and north of South America.

It has more than 7,000 islands, islets, reefs and keys. It is also called the West Indies because when Christopher Columbus reached the region in 1492; he thought he had reached the Indies (in Asia). The region got it's name from the Caribs; an ethnic group that was present in the region and parts of adjacent South America at the time of European contact.

It also contains some of the most lush and beautiful places in the world. The region has become globally known as a major tourist attraction and playground for moviestars, artistes and the rich and famous.  

Dee Creative Shoppe is a family business founded and chaired by Shelton Blackman, a native of Tobago now living in Canada. It was created with the aim of providing a cheaper online solution for Caribbean peoples who want to sell or buy real estate within the Caribbean and making it possible to do so from anywhere in the world. It also has a mandate to boost tourist inflow to the region in general with Tobago being the area of focus presently. With that in mind DCS offers all inclusive tours of Tobago to residents of North America and the Caribbean and soon the rest of the world. Believing in the use of technology as the way forward, DCS also has a Computer and Electronics division that specializes in the construction and maintainance of computers and networks and the installation of surveillance systems.
